Everything you need to know about the integrated six-year pathway
The programme offered by RGUKT consists of a six-year integrated course after 10th class examination leading to a B.Tech. degree. The first part is a two-year Pre University Course (equivalent to TS Intermediate) followed by a four-year Engineering Course.
By bringing students into the University at an earlier stage, RGUKT imparts a broad-based education including humanities and liberal arts — going well beyond premature specialisation in MPC or BiPC streams.
Equivalent to the two-year Intermediate (TS) education. The programme provides a qualitative Plus Two education in itself while laying a stronger foundation for the technical and professional courses ahead.
It includes a foundation course in IT, preparing students to make full use of Information Technology and Communication resources. There is a permitted exit after PUC for students choosing other professional programmes.
Short-term courses in humanities and social sciences ensure students emerge as confident, energetic youngsters — ready for university education and life challenges.
The programme is uniquely designed to provide a broad-based education including humanities and liberal arts, moving beyond premature specialisation found in traditional Plus Two streams.
An inbuilt remedial education system supports relatively weaker students, ensuring no one is left behind during the foundational years of study.
Students are admitted straight from 10th class, enabling RGUKT to shape their academic habits, values, and intellectual curiosity from an early and impressionable stage.
Upon completing 6 years (12 semesters) and all prescribed requirements, graduates are awarded a B.Tech. degree in one of the following disciplines

Specialisation in AI, machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and intelligent systems for next-generation applications.
